The Wonders of Vitamin C For Skin
What is it?
One of the most common and well-proven antioxidants, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is not just beneficial when ingested but can also do wonders for brightening and firming the skin. Like all antioxidants, it protects against free radicals, which come from daily pollution and sun exposure and cause damage to the skin. It helps to rejuvenate and repair the skin while also protecting it from future harm.
Will it work for all skin types?
It is probably the best known antioxidant for applying topically to the skin and can be tolerated by most skin types, whether you are blemish-prone, have dull or dry skin, or if you are simply seeking an ingredient to help brighten and firm skin. As a skincare ingredient, Vitamin C has been well researched and its benefits proven, but no matter what your skin type it’s always best to slowly test drive new products first before making them a regular in your routine, especially if you have ultra-sensitive skin.
