Juice Beauty Has Arrived!

When it comes to a total commitment to certified organic ingredients, Juice Beauty is one of the original clean beauty brands that has been delivering clinically effective formulations since its launch in 2005. The concept of Juice Beauty was developed 16 years ago in California, by wellness entrepreneur Karen Behnke who had started out in fitness before founding a company that delivered wellness programmes to corporations back in the 80’s. In the late 90’s, as Karen started her family, she began reading skincare labels and researching the ingredients in all her favourite products. Karen’s concept was to formulate products that were high in antioxidants so that they could deliver healthy nutrition to the skin. Rather than using petroleum derivatives or added water fillers to bulk up products, Karen wanted to blend powerful certified organic skincare ingredients with a vitamin-rich botanical juice base so that every drop of the product was enriched. It meant that each product would only contain high potency ingredients with no unnecessary fillers; from vitamin C and fruit stem cells to vegetable based hyaluronic acid, peptides, algae and grapeseed.

In 2004, she bought the rights to the name of Juice Beauty and set about disrupting the beauty industry. By 2005 she had launched Juice Beauty and she spent the coming years with a dedicated team of scientists and experts creating revolutionary formulations that she hoped would help to drive meaningful change and give consumers better choice when it came to high-end effective skincare that was also sustainably manufactured and packaged. It wasn’t long until Juice Beauty caught the attention of eco-conscious celebrities like Kate Hudson and Alicia Silverstone, who were quick to support the brand and shout the benefits of their products from the rooftops.

Over the past 10 years Juice Beauty has won multiple awards for their organic and vegan skincare and makeup, with accolades from InStyle, Elle, Allure, Glamour and the EWG.
